Service times

“I encourage each of you in the midst of these challenging times to continue to deepen your faith in the Risen Lord and to read and meditate upon God’s holy Word. Our communion with Christ, and in him with each other, continues whether we are able to gather or not. This is a time for us to deepen the capacity of our hearts to receive him."

The Rt Rev’d John Bauerschmidt, Bishop of Tennessee

As followers of Christ, our first responsibility is, first-and-foremost, always to love and serve our neighbors. One step towards protecting the health, safety, and well-being of parishioners is to temporarily suspend all in-person gatherings at Saint Michael’s. Until further notice, all worship services, formation classes, meals, meetings, and all other other public gatherings at Saint Michael's are canceled. Worship services will continue but will be live-streamed on the church's Facebook page, YouTube Channel, and the Livestream page of our website.

The Rev'd Bradley D. Bates,

10th Rector of Saint Michael's Episcopal Church

Once safeguards are no longer required to protect parishioners and visitors from the spread of the coronavirus, Saint Michael's will again celebrate the Holy Eucharist (i.e., communion) on Sundays at 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM, and Wednesdays at noon. Options are being explored to live-stream those services. The Morning Prayer and Evening Prayer services, as well as, Fr. Brad's Pop-Up Devotionals will continue as scheduled.

* Rite 2 reflects more fully contemporary language and theology with a greater sensitivity for inclusive language issues.
